We don't like to talk about it in the world of entertainment sock puppets, but many of us have huge egos. It's a cutthroat business, and bad feelings can erupt at any time, often resulting in horrific consequences. One of my dear friends and one of my closest enemies* recently fell victim to the deadly effects of sock puppet rivalry. My friend was Lamb Chop, TV sock puppet pioneer beloved by millions (and loved in a 'special way' by me, if you get my drift). The other was that brash upstart of the dot-com era known only as The Pets.com Sock Puppet.
